Join us for the 29th Annual Golf for Kids Tournament

The Sidney-Shelby County YMCA is proud to announce the 29th Annual YMCA “Golf for Kids” tournament. This event will be held at Shelby Oaks Golf Course on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 with a shotgun start at 7:45 AM. According to the players, “Golf for Kids” is the most unique and fun charitable event in Shelby County. It is a 27 hole, 2 person team event and plays as follows: 9-hole Best Ball, 9-hole Scramble and 9-hole Calcutta. However, players can register as a single, two-some or four-some. Singles will be paired to make a team of two.
Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 in support of the 2,000 individuals, mostly kids, who receive financial assistance with membership and program activities at the YMCA. Assistance helps provide opportunities for such things as teen leadership programs, swimming lessons, child care and many other vital services and programs.
We are seeking financial sponsorship from many of our friends and suppliers. There are several ways in which you can help. Please see the registration form for player and sponsorship opportunities. With your help, the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA is able to provide kids with life enriching activities that may not exist for them otherwise. Our success will always be measured by the lives we touch.
